I've been in the transportation business for 23 years. I've been a follower of Jesus for 9 years. As of May of 2007 I have been a part time associate pastor at First Christian Church in Lufkin, TX. I feel pretty confident that the call that I've recently answered as a minister was something I was running from since I was about 19. I have a beautiful wife of almost 25 years (Jan 2009) named Donna and I have 2 great kids. I work, watch a little TV and lead worship at my church. I love supporting my kids in their endeavors and spending time with my family.
Date, Weight, Miles 12/29, 362, n/a 1/5, 360, 6 miles 1/12, 364, 4.5 miles and an hour of racketball..ugh! I haven't blown this off.. well for the short term I kinda have. 25th anniversary in Austin TX involved a lot of walking but nothing measured. My wife's birthday (oh no more cake!), my brothers passing has all put a damper on my energy and desire. But I'm not taking this down. I will get back to it. 2/20 I weighed 350lbs this morning.. why? No carbs that's why. 3/5..we'll actually 3/2 I weighed in at 348, I just didn't post the info.. 3/9.. 345 not rapid but not bad.. 3/13.. I checked it early because I knew I'd be out of town..340..yeah baby!! Had a couple of Shiner Bocks to celebrate along with some Chili's chicken club tacos.. and of course the rice and beans.. I love that part as much as the tacos. 3/23 after a week of multiple beers and a pint of ice cream as well as hot dogs, tacos, and other fun stuff to eat during spring break I still weighed 340 this morning.. I'll call that a victory. 3/30 339. Walked several times last week.. Once even during Hannah's dance competition.Start of weight contest. 4/6/ 335-Walked a couple of times and worked in the yard. I was pretty good all week to on watching my intake.. I'm happy with last week. 4/13/09 336..busy, stressful, and too much food.. 4/20/09 330..busy, stressful, controlled my food intake and walked 3 times about 30 min each time. 4/27/09 334..grr.. 5/4/09 332 5/11/09 329 Started my new "Rule for Live" last week. Walked 7.5 miles last week. I'll blog my rule...soon..10 lbs in the contest.. 5/18/09 329 again...this frustrated me walked 6 miles and was very disciplined with food. Actually working with 2 5lb dumbells as I walk too. 5/25/09 332..not doing so well. 6/1/09 339..a very hard couple of weeks..emotionally, physically. Started eating to compensate. Stopped walking because I was exhausted.
